Ask a woman in Britain to name the greatest challenge facing her in the workplace and she is likely to say receiving equal pay to men doing the same job, with our poll finding only one in three women were confident they are earning the same as their male peers. British women were also less confident than many other G20 women when asked if they could have children without damaging their career with only 29 percent believing this was possible even though female workforce participation is the third highest in the G20, according to OECD data.
When it came to harassment 30 percent of women in Britain said they had faced mistreatment at work but over half of these, or 54 percent, said they would never or rarely report this to anyone.
How Britain scored from 1 to 19 for each question. (1 is the most positive).
